HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN


Get your ticket to a dream career with Women Building Futures’ new, fully-paid, apprenticeship-to-journeyman program!

This program provides students with the practical and academic training required to become a Heavy Equipment Technician with the ultimate goal of achieving their journeyman certificate. This industry driven, education partnership provides high quality training through annual rotating work placements with our employer sponsors.

Students will spend four weeks training at Women Building Futures in Fort McMurray, followed by a four year apprenticeship with our Industry Partners: CEDA, Diversified Transportation, Finning Canada, Mammoet, Suncor, United Rentals and more.
